A few days ago Tripwire Interactive announced it was developing the sequel Killing Floor 2. Holding true to what made the original great, the sequel is upgrading several features: Engine upgrades to a modified version of Unreal Engine 3. A new gore system aptly referred to as "MEAT" for tearing bits and bobs from zeds and leaving behind permanent bloodstains. High framerate mocap'd weapons so you can oggle dat barrel flex in zed-time. Real-time destructible dynamic lighting. Looks like we'll be seeing the sights across Europe with multiple versions of familiar zeds.
